Bicycle kit redesign for fellow RAGBRAI team.
My RAGBRAI team reached out to me and a fellow rider (also a designer) to redesign our kit that we wear for the annual ride in July.
We worked with Castelli to create a colorful, but simplified aesthetic, and also designed a new logo for the team. “Just One More,” references conversations on previous rides (just one more hill, just one more beer, just one more mile) that keep us going and get us through the day.
RAGBRAI, a week-long bike ride across Iowa, is always such a fun summertime event! The route starts in western Iowa, then ends in eastern Iowa, at the Mississippi River. It can be very physically demanding: a lot of hours on the bike each day, riding through the heat, humidity, and wind. I wanted to capture both how fun RAGBRAI is, with a wide use of color, and create a sense of motion + energy with in the type.
